Current Needs of This Village School & Ministry in Kenya

Praise Report for extension of the footbridge:

Praising God that the new footbridge was able to be expanded to enable large trucks to pass over for future building efforts.


The greatest Need for the school is for food to give the children a hot meal a day. "It is one of the key pillars because it attracts the children to school." $100 a month would provide the rice and beans and cooking oil.

 

ADD A CLASSROOM: Size: 24x20 feet similar to the one below.

The current ongoing project now that the footbridge is complete is to add another classroom. It is done in 3 Phases. TOTAL Cost Remaining: $1,550


Phase 1:

$300 - To purchase the remaining metal sheets for the wall and roof.

$50 - Transport cost to mobilize timber and metal sheets for walls and roof.

$200 - Nails and labor.


Phase 2:

$320 - Purchase 4 windows and 1 steel door.


Phase 3:

$680 - Plastering the floor.

This includes:

Large truck of Murram/clay - $120

Large truck of Sand - $120

Large truck of Stone chips - $120

20 Bags of Cement - $120

Transport costs - $50

Labor costs - $150
